Remember WAY back in the day when Susie went in for a job interview, killed the dude with poison, and then landed herself her first job…and then we got distracted by a Birthday story for Laura and a photo comic story arc about Waffles the Cat?

Well, it happened. And now we’re going to see her first day of orientation in the next few pages, before I just into the next large storyline.

I had wanted to take advantage of her getting a job and tell a few jokes with it, but kept getting distracted by other story opportunities. The fact is, I like the idea of Susie having a job and there are so many jokes that I can tell about her working in food service (having worked in food service myself back in the day). I didn’t want the opportunity to pass me by with the next story arc, since it’s going to be a longer story.

Anyway, enjoy the update and I’ll see you all next week (after Thanksgiving. Don’t die trying to get your holiday shopping done).
