@$$hole!: Recruitment 4

Alright, so I had this page done a while ago, but kept neglecting to update it online. Mostly due to human oversight. I’ve been distracted with life stuff, if you haven’t read the other posts saying as much.

So Reading with Pictures volume 2 has been officially green-lit, and Gabe and I are hard at work on the next Albert the Alien story. There are several shorts in the works:

1) Albert goes to the Movies – Albert and Gerty attempt to see a summer blockbuster movie on opening night, but find that the show is sold out. What can they do to make sure they’re not the last kids in school to see the movie.

2) Albert the Alien in It’s a Figure of Speech – English is not Albert’s first language, so he doesn’t fully understand figurative speech; which leads to all kinds of hilarious misinterpretations.

3) Albert the Alien Origin Story – What was school like before Albert came along, and how has his appearance changed things?

Plus, we’re always hard at work on the main story. 😉

I’m off to a wedding tonight for Doug Walker, a good friend from the convention scene. Then, tomorrow AM, I’m off to Michigan. A 5 hour drive will get me to the destination – the memorial of my good friend Kim. I’ve been writing and rewriting the eulogy her family asked me to give, so it’s imperative that 1) it’s perfect, and 2) I’m not late. Suffice it to say, it’s going to be a long and emotional rollercoaster of a weekend.
