My return to illustrations! Actually, I’ve been sitting on this one since before the photo story arc started, which is why it looks a little rushed. It was mostly done until I started in the studio with the photos, but then I set it down because I didn’t know how I wanted to move forward with the comic. Now that I know, I decided to go back to it.

I’m going to try to get a few “low hanging apples” cleared out before starting the next big story arc – namely, Susie’s job. She landed a job back before Laura’s 21st Birthday story arc, and we haven’t mentioned it since. Well, the next 4 pages will be her “orientation,” and then I’ll probably move on to Trevor’s Birthday Adventure, which will see the return of some old / under used characters…as well as a few new faces. This story will easily take us into 2009, which I hope will be a better year than 2008 has been.

It should be a fun time, to be sure.

Be sure to pick up Lora Innes’ “The Dreamer,” in stores 2 days ago! I’ve been reading this comic online for some time now, and met Lora and her husband at Wizard World Chicago last summer. She’s an awesome person with a fantastic sense of pace and storytelling, and a great love and appreciation for American history. And somehow, she manages to wrap it all up with a kick ass art style in her amazing comic, so be sure to show her some love and support and buy her book.
